The editors and Editorial Advisory Board of JOGNN are committed to promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in health and health care through our editorial policies and processes and the articles we publish in JOGNN.

 In the context of JOGNN’s mission to disseminate high-quality research and scholarship that is contemporary and relevant, we will focus on and continue to learn about the multiple evolving considerations related to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender identity, and sexual orientation that can manifest in racism, disparity, inequity, marginalization, and the unequal distribution of the social determinants of health.
